The Negotiating Team reached a Tentative Agreement with management during one of the government’s most turbulent times. However, the National Negotiating Team does not have unilateral authority to impose the contract on the membership.
All provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement that were not modified in negotiations remain in full force and effect. For example, overtime provisions, discipline procedure, grievance-arbitration procedure, holidays, etc.
The National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association and the United States Postal Service have negotiated a Tentative Agreement to cover the three-year period from May 21, 2024 to May 20, 2027.
NALC President Brian L. Renfroe has appointed a Ballot Committee to monitor and observe the dispatch, receipt and tabulation of the ballots in the upcoming ratification election of the proposed 2023-2026 National Agreement between NALC and USPS.
