The Postal Regulatory Commission has approved the Postal Service’s plan to launch USPS Ground Advantage on July 9.

USPS Ground Advantage will provide a simple, reliable, more affordable way to ship packages in 2-5 business days.

Pricing for USPS Ground Advantage will reflect a decrease of 1.4 percent compared with predecessor USPS ground shipping products. USPS Ground Advantage retail prices will decrease 3.2 percent compared with current prices, while commercial published prices will decrease 0.7 percent.

USPS Ground Advantage’s features will include free package pickup at homes and offices and $100 of insurance for both outbound and return shipments.

Business customers can use USPS Ground Advantage return service as a convenient option for customers who need to send items back.
