Please share with your local officers and stewards.

Retain a copy of this e-mail response from the Postal Service on my inquiry, for future reference.

Please share this workaround with your local management, if necessary.

There is no dispute at this level as these clerk employees are clerks assigned to Function 1, working under the current contract, incorporating your LMOU and applicable Article 5 past practices.

The only change is the clerk may have a different supervisor they may be reporting to, which may be a supervisor in Function 3.

The same 204b clerk craft restrictions are still applicable.

In union solidarity, the struggle continues.

Good Evening, Lamont:

As requested, please see below messaging sent to the Field Directors, Labor Relations, regarding the Clerk Craft seniority list issues that you previously identified. I am in process of obtaining the emails from HRSSC referenced below and will share with you as soon as I receive them.

Importance: High

Good Afternoon, All:

The APWU at the national level has represented that there are continued issues with Clerk Craft seniority lists as a result of the recent Logistics reorganization.

Previously, a single case out of the Los Angeles, CA International Service Center was identified; however, that case was addressed and remedied.

While the Seniority Reports application in WebCOINS is not currently generating accurate Clerk Craft seniority lists, there exists a workaround that will produce an accurate Clerk Craft seniority list for a given installation/bid cluster. Specifically, this workaround is in the form of adding the “Seniority” and “Rank” fields to the search criteria, downloading the Excel spreadsheet, and sorting accordingly. My understanding is that HRSSC has previously messaged out to the field on this issue and that everyone who is charged with pulling these reports is aware of the workaround and how to utilize it.

In the meantime, if you would please canvas your District LR folks and let me know there are any facilities within their oversight that are problematic in this regard, I will be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance,
