At a fundraising event at Greensburg on February 4 this writer handed a $5000.00 check provided by the APWU COPA fund to Conor Lamb, candidate for the 18th Congressional District. This is the seat vacated by Tim Murphy; the disgraced incumbent who was forced to resign due to personal misconduct.

The donation was achieved at a recent Western PA Postal Workers Solidarity Committee meeting via a telephone call to APWU Legislative/Political Director Judy Beard. She guided the request through the COPA Committee.
