USPS: Postal Inspection Service is now hiring Postal Police Officers

Are you interested in becoming a Postal Police officer?

Postal Police officers protect USPS facilities along with the employees and customers, Postal Service property, assets, and the U.S. Mail on that property.

The Postal Inspection Service is looking to hire in select locations around the country.

Positions are available in Baltimore; Boston; Cleveland; Detroit; Fort Worth, TX; Houston; Memphis, TN; New York; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; San Francisco; San Juan, PR; St. Louis; and Washington, DC.

Current career employees may apply through eCareer beginning Monday, Aug. 15, through Monday, Aug. 29.

External applicants (including noncareer Postal Service employees) may apply through USPS Careers from Monday, Aug. 29, through Monday, Sept. 12.
