USPS hiring holiday help in Illinois and Iowa

Kansas City, Kan. (KWQC) – The U.S. Postal Service is accepting applications for holiday seasonal positions at several mail processing facilities including Milan, Ill and Davenport, Iowa. Open positions will include temporary clerks, mail handlers and tractor trailer operators that could lead to permanent placement within the organization. A job fair for the region will be held on Nov. 7, 2015 in Windsor, Heights, Iowa.

These are temporary holiday positions which require working evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. The positions are available at the Quad Cities Plant in Milan, Ill. for the period of Nov. 14, 2015 through Jan. 8, 2016. The hourly wages range from $12.00 to $21.00 with varying shifts and days off.
