Atlanta, Georgia is experiencing an RMSS scheduling nightmare.
I personally witnessed two Atlanta P&DC maintenance craft employees each log into the ePostal Assessment System website at the same time on adjacent computers. They both were attempting to schedule the same 955 exam. Both used the same zip code, 30304, and both use the same date range for scheduling.
The ePostal Assessment System offered employee Brown several testing sites, dates and times here in Atlanta as would be expected.
However, at exactly the same time and with exactly the same zip code and date range the ePostal Assessment System offered employee Smith Birmingham Alabama as the closest testing site to Atlanta Georgia. That’s 147 miles away!
Other Atlanta employees were offered Macon Georgia as the closest testing site, some 100 miles away.
Now the Atlanta P&DC maintenance management is requiring our employees to use their own annual leave to go take the RMSS test. In all previous years the policy was no loss/no gain.
No one in management here seems to be able to identify or fix this problem.
