We had 5 ETs on tour 2 with start times of 4am & 6am.
Management wanted to move 2 ETs from tour 2 to tour 3.
Management looked at LMOU for sections definition.
The LMOU reads that our sections are:
1-Equipment Maintenance
2-Cleaning & Protective Maintenance
3-Building Maintenance
So, with these definitions of our sections, nobody was excessed outside of the section (or installation). ie: Management invoked article 38.4.A.4 and reposted the 2 jobs on tour 3 with the start time of 12pm! The problem is that management reposted a senior ETs job (originally with Sat/Sun off and start time of 6am) and left a Junior ET on tour 2 (with Thur/Fri off and start time of 4am). Management also stated that the junior ET is AFCS qualified & the senior one is not qualified on the AFCS. Please help with how I should handle this & if a grievance is warranted.
