In a new employee video message, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy discusses the Postal Service’s efforts to create a more efficient, effective processing and transportation network.

The efforts, part of the Delivering for America plan, include investing in approximately 250 facilities in the USPS network to make them best-in-class operations.

The organization is also designing transportation and logistics operations to integrate them with plant operations and eliminate waste.

The video also includes comments from Kelly Abney, chief logistics officer; Scott Bombaugh, chief technology officer; and Isaac Cronkhite, chief processing and distribution officer.

The seven-minute video, which debuted June 28, is the first in a series that will be released in the coming weeks.
