Coalition of labor unions ask PRC for access to what it believes is the USPS contract with Amazon

May 12, 2022
A coalition of labor unions has asked the Postal Regulatory Commission for access to what it believes is the USPS contract with Amazon. It plans to file a complaint alleging management is pressuring workers to illegally prioritize Amazon parcels.

The motion cites the NSA contract in Docket CP2021–117. But this contract is for Priority Mail and First Class Package Services, which are supposed to be prioritized and represent a small portion of Amazon’s deals with USPS. The big contracts cover lower-priority ground parcels.
