After decades of dormancy, the Union reemerged as a fighting institution on April 24! All over the country thousands of APWU members and supporting Unions, along with other labor activists, demonstrated our outrage at Staples stores over their raiding of Post Office jobs. In this area, the store on McKnight Road was our target. While claiming that the shift of Postal services to Staples is not an attempt to steal our work and our jobs, the claim rings hollow since the McKnight Station is a mere several hundred yards further up the road.
