“The following (scroll down), published by the APWU, leaves no doubt, if there ever was one, that the Postal Service and Staples are conniving to move Post Office jobs into the private sector…

…The rally at Monaca on Sunday, March 20, was a huge success despite the last (we hope) snow of the season and falling on Palm Sunday! Nevertheless, a spirited group of more than 50 participants, consisting of Clerks, Letter Carriers, Maintenance and Motor Vehicle Services Post Office workers, from multiple facilities, the cadre of Retirees, members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW), members from the Beaver County Central Labor Council, college students and many others made a dramatic statement against the shameful raid on our jobs! Many thanks to those that braved the elements for the event.”
