USPS: Committing to equal opportunity, No FEAR Act rights and remedies course available

A mandatory course on the Notification and Federal Employee Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 (No FEAR Act) is available through the Leaning Management System (LMS).

All USPS employees — including career, non-career, and those in Executive and Administrative Schedule, Pay-Band, and Postal Career Executive Service — must complete the training course by July 31, 2014.

The No FEAR Act requires federal agencies, including USPS, to provide notice and periodic training to all employees, former employees and applicants for employment on the rights and remedies available to them under anti-discrimination and whistleblower laws and regulations.

For employees who don’t have access to LMS, a PowerPoint and Stand-up Talk version is available at the Human Resources, Strategic Training Initiatives website on Blue.

“The Postal Service is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all employees,” said Labor Relations VP Doug Tulino. “USPS continues to take steps to deliver on its commitment to improve the work environment through training to all employees on EEO laws and remedies as required by the No FEAR Act of 2002.”

My name is Cherita Johnson. I’m a PSE at Melrose Park (60160). I’ve been working there for over 4 years and during the entire span, management there have been mistreating me with egregious behavior and in a discriminating manner, which is do my ADA covered ailment. It’s wearing me down mentally, physically, emotionally and psychologically. Could someone please look into the matter under the umbrella of the No Fear Act?
