In an office that has BEM’s in a section called Field Maintenance, and in the Plant, can/should the BEM’s in the field be allowed to work out of section overtime in the Plant? For example, if the Plant BEM’s are getting 20 hours overtime a week, shouldn’t the field BEM’s be offered 20 hours a week of overtime also?
Field maintenance shouldn’t be considered for any OT in the plant. If OT is still needed and they’ve exhausted the BEM’s list they should look to Maintenance Mechanics or ET’s working in the plant.
