Full Time Clerk Opportunities at the Seattle Post Office
Opens October 1st , Closes October 14th
As a result of an agreement through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Process at the HQ level with the APWU to resolve posting issues in the Seattle Bid Cluster, a one-time posting available ONLY to PTF Clerks in the Seattle District will start this coming Wednesday, October 1, 2014. There will be 26 full time clerk positions available at the Seattle Post Office. Posting will close on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. This will be a manual posting and NOT in the eReassign system. Selection from the PTF clerk applicants will be under the conditions of Step 6 of the March 20, 2014 APWU Clerk MOU.
A manual bid sheet and the list of positions available, together with this Service Talk has been sent to the offices with current PTF Clerks on rolls.
All PTF clerks will have to fill out a manual bid sheet, submit to their Postmaster/OIC, who will then forward the sheet to the District office. All sheets must be received by Local management by 16:00 on October 14th.
District Office will notify offices with PTFs who have successfully bid on a position once all sheets are finalized. The effective date of new assignment will be November 1, 2014.
