“COMMENT – We reached out in several ways via email, etc. to the new Retiree Director in an attempt to invite her to be a guest at the Chapter Holiday Party. She did not respond by mail or telephone, which this writer requested. Apparently she cannot put the differences we had at the recent APWU Convention and election aside. After all, we are one of the largest Chapters in the Retiree Department. It does not bode well that the Director allows political differences to determine Union representation, or lack thereof, for our Chapter.”
