Effective June 7, 2018, the Postal Service™ is revising Handbook EL-801, Supervisor’s Safety Handbook, to permit trained personnel to administer Narcan® nasal spray to employees suspected of experiencing an opioid overdose.

The Postal Service will incorporate this revision into the next online update of Handbook EL-801, Supervisor’s Safety Handbook, which is available on the Postal Service PolicyNet website.
