APWU: 24th Biennial National Convention will be held in Pittsburgh, PA

11/01/2017 – The 24th Biennial National Convention will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 20 – 23, 2018.

Pre-Convention Workshops will be held on Friday, August 17 and Division Conferences on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19.

The BMC Conference will be held the Friday following the convention, on August 24.

Additional details, including hotel information, will be forthcoming.

The National Convention is the union’s highest decision-making body and helps the union chart its course for the future. Approximately 2,000 APWU delegates will debate and vote on resolutions that will be introduced on a wide variety of subjects. The resolutions give focus to the union’s goals and help us better serve our members.

APWU locals and state organizations are urged to send their full quota of delegates. Members-at-Large (MAL) also are encouraged to attend.
