Attached are the final USPS “Wounded Warriors Leave” regulations issued pursuant to the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act of 2015. They provide that an eligible employee hired on or after 11-05-2016, who is a veteran with a service-connected disability rated at 30 percent or more, will be permitted to take up to 104 hours of “Wounded Warriors Leave” within his/her first twelve months of employment to undergo medical treatment for the disability without charge to his/her annual or sick leave.
