Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA) offered an amendment during the committee markup of the FY 2016 Financial Service and General Government Appropriations Bill. The amendment, which passed 26-23, will require the Postal Service to maintain and comply with more reliable mail service standards (specifically the service standards as they were on July 1, 2012).
