The U.S. Postal Service is planning to hire up to 100 employees in Cincinnati next week.

The Postal Service is looking to fill up to 100 carrier assistant positions in its Cincinnati stations and branch offices. Starting salary for the positions that could lead to full time is $16.78 with some benefits.

The Postal Service will host a hiring event 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Cincinnati Main Post Office, 1623 Dalton Ave.

USPS provides an employment website that lists positions available for immediate hire. Available jobs are listed on the bottom of the screen. Applicants must apply during the timeframe specified for each job posted.

USPS encourages applicants to check the website regularly to keep up with changes in position openings.
