The latest video from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy updates employees on the Postal Service’s work to deliver election-related mail.

To serve voters who mail their ballots close to deadline, the organization is prioritizing ballots, adding postmarking resources, adding extra transportation wherever it is needed, and working with local election officials to meet special needs.

“We have the capacity to handle the nation’s election mail. The women and men of the Postal Service are doing a great job of delivering that mail. I want to thank all of you for your commitment and for making this final election mail push your top priority,” DeJoy says.

Other topics addressed in the video include the Postmaster General’s recent visits to Philadelphia and Richmond, VA; recent increases in mail volumes; and the ongoing efforts to achieve operational excellence.

The video, released Oct. 26, is available on Link and other postal websites and will be shown to employees throughout the organization this week.
