Postmaster General Louis DeJoy discusses the Postal Service’s new 10-year plan in his latest all-employee video message.

The plan, called Delivering for America, aims to modernize the organization while increasing its role and relevance to the nation. USPS released the plan March 23.

Delivering for America commits $40 billion to fund:

• A new delivery vehicle fleet;

• Better devices and digital tools;

• Package automation equipment;

• Post Office and facility upgrades; and

• Best-in-class information technology.

The plan also includes investments in better training and creating more opportunities for advancement.

“All of us play a part in strengthening our culture to better fulfill our mission of service,” DeJoy says.

“We have a lot to build upon as an organization, but we also have a long way to go. I want you to know that I am committed to creating a better workplace and better work experience.”

The video, released March 31, is available on Link and other postal websites and will be shown to employees throughout the organization this week and next.
