The Antioch, IL, Post Office recently received its 37th consecutive perfect score on the Retail Customer Experience (RCE) survey, one of the Postal Service’s top tools to measure the quality of its customer service.

This places Antioch third in the nation behind the Hazlehurst, GA, Post Office, which has 40 perfect scores, and the Middlebury, IN, Post Office, which has 38.

The Antioch office credits its success to embracing the basics: asking customers the right questions, keeping wait times in line to a minimum, providing the highest level of service possible and teamwork.

Management and staff work together to stay abreast of the latest USPS products and services, said Sales and Service Associated Larry Darling.

“We don’t just read memos, we talk about them one-on-one,” Darling said. “We discuss what’s happening in the Postal Service.”

The camaraderie fosters a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Now, Antioch has its sights on becoming the national leader in perfect RCE scores.

“We’re goal-oriented,” said Sales and Service Associate Bill Bachochin. “We want to do well for the office and our customers.”
