USPS OIG: What Do You Think about the Newest Package Sorter?

The rapid growth of ecommerce has created many opportunities for the U.S. Postal Service. This holiday season, the Postal Service is planning to deliver about 750 million packages, a 12 percent increase compared to last year. To increase operating efficiency, the Postal Service is deploying a pilot automated package sorter called the High Throughput Package Sorter. We will evaluate the performance and functionality of the pilot equipment.
