RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The US Postal Service is looking for more than 200 employees in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Truckee and South Lake Tahoe.

Recruiters will be on-hand to guide prospective employees from the application process to on-the-spot interviews at a hiring event for three days at the Reno Main Post Office at 2000 Vassar Street from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Each applicant is asked to create an online profile at usps.com/careers before attending, to expedite the process.

Open positions include carrier and clerk positions with a variety of locations and shifts. The hourly wages range from $12.00 to $17.80 with varying shifts and days off.

Some positions are longer term and could lead to permanent placement with the Postal Service.
