The Law Department is seeking to fill a labor law attorney position in the Employment and Labor Law Section at Headquarters. The successful candidate will provide advice and representation concerning a broad array of labor and employment statutes, regulations, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will represent the Postal Service in collective bargaining and in very large and complex matters before rights arbitrators, interest arbitrators, and in federal courts. Finally, the successful candidate will provide counsel, training and representation for OSHA related matters including OSHA inspections, OSHA complaints and OSHA Sections 11 (c) whistleblower protection complaints.
The USPS is also filling 33 EAS-17 supervisor positions for which only non-career postal employees may apply. The number keeps growing.
