Fifth-grade students at River Roads Lutheran School in St. Louis, MO, recently wrote letters to PMG Pat Donahoe, demonstrating the skills they developed from having a Post Office in their school.
Donahoe wrote back to thank the students for taking the time to contact to him. “It’s always a pleasure to receive letters from our customers, but it’s especially heartwarming whenever I receive letters from young people like you,” wrote Donahoe.
The PMG also told the students he was pleased they were participating in their school’s letter-writing program. “In this age of digital media and other forms of electronic communications, too many people don’t experience the excitement of sending or receiving a a handwritten letter — but that obviously isn’t the case at River Roads Lutheran School!”
