Effective March 16, 2017, the Postal Service™ issued its Memorandum of Policy (MOP) HR-03-16-2017-1, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement.
In accordance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) Management Directive 715 (MD 715), the policy will be updated annually and prominently posted:
- In all personnel offices;
- In EEO offices;
- On the agency’s internal website; and
- Throughout the workplace.
This policy reaffirms the Postal Service’s commitment to equality of opportunity in every aspect of employment and supersedes MOP HR-03-03-2016-1, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement.
