The deadline for Postal Service employees to order T-shirts to promote semipostal stamps is Thursday, Aug. 15.Employees canĀ order the shirts from Tee Luv, at their own expense, using password USPS2024. Tee Luv is a provider of USPS-licensed apparel.
Uniformed employees can wear the licensed semipostal stamp T-shirts during promotional activities, with the head of the facilityās approval, on one business day each week during designated months.
Other employees may wear the T-shirts during work hours, if permitted by the head of the facility. The T-shirts worn should correspond to the semipostal stamp that is being promoted.
Semipostal stamps raise money for associated causes. This year, USPS set aside four months to promote these stamps:
ā¢ September for theĀ Alzheimerās stamp;
ā¢ October for theĀ Breast Cancer Research stamp;
ā¢ November for theĀ Save Vanishing Species stamp; and
ā¢ December for theĀ Healing PTSD stamp.
USPS facility leaders and employees can promote semipostal stamps during those months but must follow these rules:
ā¢ Raffles and drawings are allowed if everyone can enter for free without having to buy a postal product, the prizes have been donated voluntarily by employees or paid for with authorized postal funds, and the promotions are held for each semipostal stamp.
ā¢ Decorations canāt use stamp images, including images of the semipostal stamps being promoted.
ā¢ The phrases āFund the fight. Find a cure,ā ā#PostalProudā and āPostal Proudā can be used on decorations for Breast Cancer Research stamp activities, as can the Postal Service pink ribbon image, which is available from the USPS Ethics and Legal Compliance team.
ā¢ When communicating with the public and the news media, employees may only use articles, press releases and marketing materials that have been approved and provided by Corporate Communications, Stamp Services, and Marketing.
ā¢ Outside organizations canāt distribute materials related to the semipostal stampās cause or hold awareness or charitable activities in Post Office lobbies or on postal property.
ā¢ USPS employees may not solicit or accept donations from customers.
Employees with questions about semipostal stamp promotional activities shouldĀ emailĀ the USPS Ethics and Legal Compliance team.
