âThe idea is to put safety at the forefront of what we do,â said Atlanta District Acting Manager Sam Jaudon.
The district has several safety-related activities planned during the summer, including meetings with safety captains, driver safety instruction and âsafety blitzesâ that identify and fix problems.
âWe want to find it, fix it and recognize employees who are doing an awesome job regarding safety,â Jaudon said.
Atlanta Districtâs efforts dovetail with the Postal Serviceâs ongoing workplace safety programs, including the national Safety Depends on Me videos.
Monica Bage, the districtâs acting safety manager, said sheâs glad USPS takes safety seriously.
âWe care about our employees and we want them to go home safely every day,â she said.
