Updated RI-399 training will take place immediately following the APWU National Convention in Pittsburgh on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm for APWU local officers responsible for implementation of the new MOU on RI-399 at the local level.

“It is crucial that you attend this training.” RI-399 national officers and national business agents will be in attendance also. Each APWU local with mail handlers must agree on a joint inventory of clerk and mail handler work assignments that existed as of September 1, 2017. The updated MOU on RI-399 establishes a meeting at 10:00 am local time on the last Wednesday of every month (other than December) to discuss any issues covered by the RI-399 Dispute Resolution Procedures.

Affected locals may need to change their hotel and plane reservations for the national convention.
