Postal Regulatory Commission OK’s rate increase; Hawley bill prohibits RTO

The U.S. Postal Regulatory Commission approved the U.S. Postal Service’s proposal to raise rates for Market Dominant products consistent with applicable law on May 30, according to Holly Lubart, vice president of government affairs with News/Media Alliance.

The seasonal adjustment will bring prices for the Postal Service’s commercial and retail customers in line with competitive practices.
