Question for you guys. You usually get broad-spectrum answers to this based on what folks have heard 3rd person.

During my military career, I had the Montgomery GI Bill at least 3 times. Back then, mostly because there were no qualifying schools within my commute capabilities, I never used these earned benefits.

Currently, I have approximately $20K in student loan debt that I am hoping to find a way to use those unpaid benefits strictly to pay off my student loan debt.

Has anyone had any first hand experience with this?

Also, the answers regarding whether or not a USPS employee is qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program are varied and confusing. Has anyone had personal experience with this program?
