USPS: Shipping price changes take effect Jan. 17

pricing_shippingPrice changes for several shipping products and services will take effect Jan. 17.

These changes, which the Postal Service announced last October, include the first price increase for commercial Priority Mail in more than three years.

Prices also will change for Priority Mail Express, while customers who use Click-N-Ship to print labels for some services will now pay retail prices rather than commercial base prices.

Other changes will include the elimination of some products, including Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Boxes.

Additionally, some products and services will be renamed.

Parcel Select Nonpresort will now be called Parcel Select Ground, while Standard Post will be renamed USPS Retail Ground.

More information is available on the Blue Retail and Customer Service Operations page, including a price change reference guide.
