I pledge, to you the membership, that I will seek to be a source of unity and to be available to you. I know that there are no perfect officers; nor do I claim to be one. But one of the greatest contributions I can make is to do all I can, in God’s power, to help keep our health plan strong so that it can continue to support the operations of our great union.
