PHILADELPHIA — The U.S. Postal Service will have nearly 500 post offices throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware ready to greet applicants on August 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in an aggressive move to ensure it is ready to handle the holidays.

“We are looking to fill 400 positions with a salary range of $19.33 to $35.48 an hour,” said Julie Campbell, the Human Resources Manager for the DE- PA2 District. “This is a great opportunity to learn about the many positions we have available. There’s something for everyone.”

Jobs available include:

• City Carrier
• Rural Carrier
• Clerk
• Maintenance
• Motor Vehicle

“If you want to help us Deliver for America, we can deliver terrific benefits for you,” adds USPS spokesman Paul F. Smith. Virtually all the major post offices in the ZIP Code range of 180-199) will have staff on hand to assist, encompassing two dozen counties in PA as well as the state of Delaware.  Within the city of Philadelphia, Paschall Post Office, Lindbergh Boulevard, will be the Post Office for those in the 191 ZIP Code area.
