In his latest video message, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy says the Postal Service is in good shape for the coming holiday season.

“We told the country and our customers that we are ready for their holiday mail and packages,” DeJoy says. “I am proud to say that we are all delivering on that promise.”

The Postmaster General says the improvement over last year’s holiday season is a result of the facilities, equipment and modes of transportation that have been added over the past year, as well as stabilizing the workforce.

He also thanks employees for their commitment to the organization’s mission of service and for bringing integrity, purpose and precision to everything they do.

The video, released Nov. 23, is available on Link and other postal websites and will be shown to employees throughout the organization this week and next.
