To my maintenance brothers and sisters of the Southern Region, thank you for the past four and a half years of friendship and working together in our endless endeavor to improve our working conditions. Your perseverance, commitment and dedication has been an inspiration to me and a makes me proud to work along side you as your National Business Agent.

It is my desire to continue to represent you as your Southern Region NBA so I ask for your support and vote in this current election. Many of you have expressed your appreciation and gratitude for assisting you with the many issues you face on a daily basis. And for that I thank you. We have spent countless hours on the phone and exchanging emails as we try to represent our members to the best of our ability. Our successes have come from hard work and experience and our failures have been a lesson well learned.

Now is not the time to be misled with bold promises and videos of instantly making a change overnight. As seasoned unionists and new union stewards we quickly learn that patience and perseverance are virtues that cannot be overlooked. Management will continue to violate the contract and we will continue to fight them head on. Thank you for all that you do as a Union representative and as a loyal and faithful Union Member of the American Postal Workers Union.
