I am going to whine for a bit.
The U.S. Postal Service moved most of our services to Portland and they assured us over and over again it would not affect our mail service.
Well, I beg to differ. It now takes an extra day to get our mail.
Gee, whiz. We live in the capital of the state and we have to wait an extra day to get our mail.
It used to be that a group of us would get our mail all on the same day. I could call Portland and say, “Wow, got my letter.” And they would respond, “Yes, so did we.”
Now it’s the Portlander calling me to say, “Well you should get yours in a day or two or three.”
Right on, U.S. Postal Service. And you wonder why people are not using the mail service as much.
