On August 21, 2019, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Wanda Coleman-Gordon, former Secretary-Treasurer of American Postal Workers Union (APWU) Local 1477 and the Texas Postal Workers Union (both located in Tyler, Tex.), was charged in a one-count indictment for embezzling $71,064 in union funds, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c). This indictment follows an investigation by the OLMS Dallas-New Orleans District Office.
