eLRA Has Been Enhanced to Accept Scheduled Leave Requests

The Enterprise Leave Request Application now allows USPS craft workers to request scheduled and unscheduled leave.

Has your scheduled leave request ever been lost? Employees may now request scheduled leave through the Enterprise Leave Request Application (eLRA) on LiteBlue. Employees can utilize the enhanced eLRA via LiteBlue from their home computer or compatible mobile device.

This does not prohibit an employee from manually submitting a PS Form 3971 if they wish. Once the request for leave has been submitted online, the employee’s supervisor will receive an email notification advising of the leave request. The supervisor is responsible for approving or disapproving the leave request in accordance with the applicable LMOU and the ELM.

Employees will sign the online PS Form 3971 upon their return to work. As always, keep a copy!
