I am new to the Tampa area and recently put in a PS Form 3971 for leave, 5 days ahead of when I would like to take off. It was disapproved due to it not being timely.
Our LMOU states you must have a leave request in prior to the Monday of the service week preceding your request. Is this a proper agreement? Who knows when they will need off 2 weeks in advance all the time? Can I fight this?
Also we have bum agreements here, like no hearing protection on the work room floor, which I know are unenforcable.
