Looking for some feedback from other processing plants.
Does management in your facility allow clerks to wear gloves on the DBCS / AFCS 200 machines?
If yes, are they limited to latex / nitrile gloves, or can they wear cloth gloves?
If no, are they allowed to wear gloves during start-up, turn to 2nd pass, or dispatch when the machine is not running? After a minor injury on an AFCS 200, local management banned all cloth gloves on DBCS / AFCS, even when the machine is not running. They do allow latex / nitrile gloves but most of the clerks hate wearing those.
Any information from your plant would be appreciated.
