USPS Information and Accounting Service Center (IASC) near MinneapolisThe contract techs of the country are concerned our jobs are going to be abolished. Since San Mateo handles most contracts now, we don’t do much of that anymore. However, although I can’t speak for anyone else, I am also appointed the Plant Purchaser and the Material Accountability Officer, two jobs very important to SOX Compliance.
Does anyone have any input? I know of a few that have been abolished; what’s happened to the duties – have they been absorbed by someone else? Will it remain a Best Qualified position?
