Will rank-and-file members have any way of asking questions to those running for office in the upcoming APWU national election? Thanks.

Well Jeff, I sent you a question thru your website over a week ago. Got no response. Would you like me to ask you it here? I could re ask it or do you want to keep one of your promises to answer any question? Based on that I would have to wonder if we could believe anything you say.

I am and have always been open to any question the membership would ask of me. I am on Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and I have a website. I believe in my health plan and have so over the past 28 years.

Feel free to ask me what you want. I need “vetted”. That’s our problem. We don’t think enough about who leads us in the APWU. Praise me, kick me to the curb, make me feel emotion and show it. Do the same with any other candidate you feel we need to know more about in one form or another.

I asked Bob a question via facebook and received a rapid response. This is in stark contrast to the absolute black hole which currently exists at APWU headquarters, where national officers have no compunction about cutting non-contractual deals to benefit some members at the expense of others. My endorsement of Bob stands. We need to continue the removal of arrogant, non-communicative officers from our Union.

Artie,
Absolutely. I encourage all members to ask questions of the APWU national officer candidates here. Some will not answer questions and others will refer you to their web sites or ignore you altogether. It’s great to see Mark Graham and Bob Hock on here, personally availing themselves to the membership.
I will be visiting web sites, facebook pages and reviewing the candidate articles in the July/August issue of the American Postal Worker magazine (per the APWU National Constitution) before I ask specific questions. I’m gonna give them a chance first to address which issues they feel are important before I voice my concerns, questions and endorsements.

Randy do you think we could ask the questions here and if the candidate has the guts or wisdom they can answer it for all to see?
Thanks
