APWU Philadelphia Retiree Chapter votes unanimous opposition to H.R. 756

On Thursday, February 17th, the APWU Philadelphia Area Local Retiree Chapter voted unanimously to strongly oppose HR 756 unless and until it is restructured to remove ANY changes to Retiree Health Benefits / Federal Employee Health Benefits.

We will be sending a letter to our Retiree Chapter membership, APWU National Executive Board and APWU HQ Directors of Legislation, Retirees Department and Health Plan expressing these sentiments.

    I have voiced my opposition to this Medicare integration since it first was raised. I must point out that very few shared my opinion, and the APWU administration, including the legislative director and retirees director have all supported this.
