Attached is the new USPS “Decision Tree”-a management generated flow chart for managers and supervisors to follow when an employee is reported as exposed to or is positive with COVID-19.
THE APWU IS VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED TO THESE MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES AND CONSIDER THEM AN AFFRONT TO THE DEDICATED AND COURAGEOUS POSTAL WORKFORCE THAT WILL UNDERMINE THE HEATLH AND SAFETY OF POSTAL WORKERS.
The APWU will release our strategy and procedure that employees should follow when confronted with the necessity of or being required to stay out of work due to a COVID-19 diagnosis or exposure.
