June 3, 2014 – The APWU has prepared a ‘Don’t Buy Staples’ sample resolution [DOC] | [PDF] for use by APWU leaders and union allies to help spread the word about the boycott of the office-supply chain.

“APWU members and our allies must spread the word about the ‘Don’t Buy Staples’ campaign to every labor organization in the country – at the national, state and local level – so that the rank-and-file union members get the message,” APWU President Mark Dimondstein said. “We are confident they won’t shop at Staples if they are made aware of the ‘Don’t Buy’ campaign.”

APWU local unions and allies can adopt the ‘Don’t Buy Staples’ sample resolution [DOC] | [PDF] to make it clear that we intend to win this fight against privatization and save our public post offices.
