USPS Delayed Mail Piece Spreadsheet – Fiscal Year 2015

mailbox_charlie_brown_cartoonVia APWU Member Sam Wood:
I believe this is the best information I have compiled in a long time. Please feel free to share this delayed mail volumes. Please take your time when looking through it as I believe many of you will be impressed by the information that I was able to find!

The attached spreadsheet shows delayed mail pieces by each USPS District:

  1. 2015 Fiscal Year Quarter 1 October 1, 2014 – December 31, 2014
  2. 2015 Fiscal Year Quarter 2 January 1, 2015 – March 31, 2015

As you will see in the created spreadsheet, delayed mail has increased since management changed the delivery standards in early January. These are not made up numbers, they are from management’s own 3-Day Failed Pieces Report which includes all “Incoming Secondary Mail Levels.”

Please feel free to utilize this information in a positive and educational way. USPS management continues to make postal employees look bad with the service standard changes. The Operational Window Change (OWC) has failed and something must be done.

Enjoy!
